Vanessa Keng saw a market for assistive devices and decided to come up with a range of products that would provide convenience to the seniors’ daily lives and also encourage them to age healthily. She said something very interesting in the article, “But I do think that where ‘social tech’ is concerned, more emphasis should be on the ‘heart ware’ rather than on the hardware.” Making the product user friendly and well-designed for the user is more important than the tech in it.
