My Definition of Culture
After coming up with our definition of design, we are tasked to define culture. Culture is an important aspect we need to consider in design. With an understanding of the people, the customs, the beliefs and the views of our surroundings, we can add elements to our designs that are more in line with our intended audience.
Culture is the combination of traditions and customs of a society or community of people, and the act of such practices are considered norms. Singapore has been described as a "melting pot" where people of all walks of life come together and form a distinctive culture.
